Merck SenseHub® Feedlot Electronic Ear Tags
Cattle frequently conceal their illnesses making it difficult for even experienced pen riders to identify sick animals. An electronic ear tag helps by monitoring animal activity and measuring body temperature. When an animal is sick, an LED on its tag lights up and flashes, allowing pen riders to quickly spot them. Once an animal is separated, a caregiver can diagnose the problem and provide the necessary treatment, ensuring a healthier herd.
